Shadow Mountain Golf Course is surrounded by the village of Sunsites.
An attractive retirement community of 1,500+ people in southeast Arizona. Sunsites is located on State Route 191, 15 miles south of Interstate 10 between Willcox and Douglas in the Sulphur Springs Valley.  Sunsites lies 65 miles southeast of Tucson and sits at an elevation of 4,500 feet with spectacular views of the Cochise Stronghold, Dragoon and Chiricahua Mountains.

Sunsites offers a relaxed rural lifestyle with a temperate climate making it the perfect year round destination.  It is considered an excellent health spot due to pureness of air & low humidity.  Centered in Sunsites is Shadow Mountain Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course gracing the area with natural habitat of beautiful trees, greenery and many ponds.  The community also provides its' residents with a medical facility, fire department, bank, convenience store, fresh produce & grocery store, restaurants, motel, B&B's, library, churches and diverse businesses along with service and social clubs.  Sunsites has existing homes for sale and choice building lots on and off the Golf Course ready to build your new home.
The Sunsites community is located close to many historical points in southern Arizona.  Nearby you'll find The Amerind Foundation, Kartchner Caverns, the Chiricahua National Monument and the majestic Cochise Stronghold.

The cities of Willcox and Benson are each one-half hour’s drive away and both offer additional shopping and fully equipped hospitals.  Tucson, which is a little over an hour’s drive away, offers all the amenities of a large city. Douglas, Arizona and Agua Prieta, Mexico are also an hour’s drive away and provide that “South of the Border” experience.

There is so much to do in southeast Arizona!  Prospectors, rockhounds, birders, history buffs, stargazers, hikers, campers & antique collectors along with artists and photographers have a field day with the abundance of resources for their hobbies.
